Zoss: The Swiss Baker - Rebrand

Rebrand: Zoss the Swiss Baker

Zoss the Swiss Baker is a local, Cleveland bakery located in the Cedar Fairmount neighborhood of Cleveland Heights. Its owners, Kurt and Barbara Zoss, opened the bakery in 1996 and have been serving fresh, baked goods ever since.
As it stands currently, the Zoss brand identity is not very concrete. When you walk up to the building, you are greeted by a street sign, awning sign, and a building sign. All three of these signs have a different typeface, logo, and colors, among other differences. The inside of the building itself shows no branding on any of the products, apart from the occasional flier. For my rebranding project, I wanted to integrate the Swiss flag and colors, make the brand more bold and stand out amongst its neighbors in the area, modernize the brand, and generally build a more cohesive brand identity for Zoss.
Creating the logo, I utilized Helvetica for its modern look and being that it’s a Swiss typeface. In the the mockups for packaging, uniforms, and other items, I utilized a lot of graphic elements and pattern to bring a stylish, fun look to the bakery.
