plates
Set of plates dedicated to a Scandinavian style restaurant. This project is inspired by the Icelandic landscape, which speaks through very raw forms and materials. Iceland is a country defined by its nature, from volcanoes and geysers, through fields covered with moss and lava rocks, to waterfalls and glaciers. The textures of volcanic rocks and glacier waters were my inspiration for the plates. I chose porcelain and concrete as my materials. Plates can be used as a set or separately, chef’s choice!
