Renting a house in Peshawar, Ali supports his grandpa and starts his studies
Seeing a good girl from a good family, Ali marries a Pakistani girl at the age of 20
Working day and night, Ali gets a shop on rent. his young son now goes to school
After continuous efforts, Ali Jawad's son graduates from a university in Peshawar completing his bachelors
With no further extension on PoR cards, Pakistani government puts pressure to expel the refugees after 30 years of their stay. Ali Jawad, has to leave his wife, his son has to say farewell to his mother. Thousands families are on the verge of becoming a refugee once again.
This artwork is a part of the thesis project I presented for my bachelors thesis program. The front and back cover are made of wood and hence carved. The pages are attached continuous like an artist book and are brown box board paper.
