Dyed with MX FiberReactive Dyes. 
Techniques of Itajime shibori,
Immersion dyeing, Thiox clamping,
 and Arashi shibori.

Natural dyeing with Sorghum Bicolor leaves, and print paste
with techniques of itajime shibori and direct application. 
Uses unconventional tools for mark making. 
Corrugated cardboard is used to create fine detailing in the green stripes.

Dyes and three different colour baths. 
Continues the investigation of unconventional tools
for mark making by using a stove burner.

A double-sided knit with varied configurations
and explores the concept of a topographical surface for
knits. One side has a layered effect. The other side has striping. 
Made with a single bed knitting machine.

investigates the relationships

Another double-sided textile that experiments with textural combinations
that can be achieved through knitting. One side has an ogee pattern,
the other side has a checkerboard. Made with a single bed knitting machine.

A series of Indigo-dyed cotton, silk organza, and china silk, with the method of Shibori.

Dimensions from left to right:
The first three are 15 x 15 inches. The remaining are approximately 9 x 17 inches.

The poster speaks of the contrast between
the more "affluent" MICA campus and
the poorer areas of Baltimore. 
The poster is to get students more familiar with
Baltimore's history, and where parts of Baltimore stand today.

Materials: Adobe Illustrator, Cut Paper, magazines, Acrylic Paint, Faux Wood Graining Comb, and Plastic, and Color-Aid paper, in a Collage. Printed on Cardstock.

Applying the contrast and harmony techniques of boldness and subtlety, to create a graphic. 
Then incorporating type to formulate a poster.

Picked two different yet related objects,
then creating varied logos for each one by forming
an icon, index, and symbol.
