I keep my paintings in a slightly higher value key otherwise they will overly darken the image and muddy your colors once you start painting below and above them.
Lotus Eater Pattern.
I made this repeating pattern to be the wallpaper separately and in large file format both to save time and to have it for personal or commercial purposes later on.
