The task of this project was to create double sided fold-out posters, with a booklet of information about an artist or designer who will be giving a talk with The Typographic Circle. I chose Manny Ling, a Chinese artist who specialises in calligraphy and digital typeface design. I used this information to inspire my poster and tried to keep a similar style of work to Lings. I also looked at Dalton Maag, a type design company. Again, I have tried to work in the style of this company, using letters individually to create a new meaning. As well as these two, I have looked at Snask, a fun Swedish company. There are a lot of shades of pink and black in this companies style. They are quite out there, and have a 'don't give a f*ck' attitude, and are very confident in themselves. I have tried to show this in my posters, with the words and typefaces used.
