ENSEMBLE BLACKBERRY
Ensemble is a fictitious new smartphone released by BlackBerry featured with a pair of wireless smart earpieces.
The new product enhances the brand image and communicates the brand personality, which is dynamic, fearless and confident. Ensemble BlackBerry is targeted at young white-collared professionals and retains the brand positioning as a business executive phone.
The overall packaging structure is a flat rectangular box. The increase of the width is necessary because the wireless earpieces are an essential feature of this new product. They are placed at the same level with the smartphone to emphasise their hierarchy. When the lid is opened, the earpiece will be shown first through a die-cut. Thereafter, together with the smartphone when the cover sheet is turned over.
The arrangement of the components fully utilises the space of the packaging. They are arranged compactly and tidily with precise measurements of every component and the spaces between. The design and construction of the packaging not only saves space but also materials used.
