In this 4 pieces project i tried to connect the ideas of Werewolf eroticism with the 4 elements and 4 phases of the moon. 
The interpretation is not exactly necessary but I thought of a little story to follow the change of the moon.

「As the youngster is still crude and undeveloped, he is still chained to his old patterns, but what he is and what he will be, is predefined and covers his real identity. The New Air brings winds of change.
When he discovers his powers and his body, new shapes and watery feelings emerge in Crescent Water.
The Full Fire is all about the extreme. The discovery of the Other, and the flames of passion in the full moon bring the fury and joy together.
The world starts to crumble and assume new forms in Waning Earth. The flames are down and in the ashes he finds the true self of the Other, and he returns to his original shape, allthough the Change will always be truly inside him.」

This project was painted with ink and alcohol-based markers, part was retouched on Photoshop. 
The 4 pieces were exhibited in September/October 2012 at 3F Project Room, Kyoto, Japan.
