Suav is about making people feel comfortable while stretching.
It does that by manufacturing yoga apparel from high-quality, natural fabrics.
But it’s not just breathable, loose clothing for the inside.
It can also be streetwear, if you’re into that.
I was handed that info, in order to come up
with a visual identity for the business.

As an independent fashion brand, working with high-quality materials,
it had to have an easily recognizable and self-contained symbol,
with enough weight on it to function even without a wordmark.

Ideally, over time, you’d have to be able to see the stretching “S”
and instantly get what it stands for.
and instantly get what it stands for.
Of course, that would imply giving any wordmark a slightly reduced
and neutral role, stating the brand name just big enough to
keep it on the safe side of the market.

All of this makes the premise of an urban & crafty brand identity,
on which one could easily build upon, over time,
as the business itself grows.

The intent was to project this way an independent fashion brand
that is true to its means, a permanent work in progress,
continuously caring for details.
