I was tasked to concept an EXPERIENTIAL INSTALLATION for a pop-up event hosted by a local design brand. The theme was With Asian Flavour, and the brand owners wanted something fun and memorable. 

The team and I came up with the idea of an inverted bowl of ramen with all the ingredients suspended in mid-air as part of the ceiling installation. A bowl of noodles is a distinctly Asian dish, with many different Asian cultures owning their own versions, and the Instagrammability of a large-scale installation like that would contribute greatly to the PR for the event.

3D illustrations – 3D-printed structures that event attendees could interact with.

Illustrated using a softer and more organic approach. Using long strips of cloth for the noodles, and foam constructs for each ingredient, this approach would be a more cost-effective option.
