"Inside and Out" is an interactive learning piece assembled on a sheet of steel and magnetic sheets. It is part of a body of work having to do with women and weightlifting, where I hope to educate and encourage women to learn the benefits of the activity and perhaps try it for themselves. By allowing the viewers to see what's on the inside and the outside of this figure, they can hopefully gain a greater understanding of their own anatomy and understand that being strong and full-bodied does not mean to be masculine.
