THE OBSCURA ABYSS

                                                             The Abyss

For a long-time now, as human beings, we’ve been projecting this energy, this light inside of us, into enclosed spaces. Within these four walls, we have tried to suffocate the air inside and compress everything with relative importance to us within it as well as the vastness of the expansive outside.

In this process we have lost our minds inside this four walled enclosure forgetting that the light inside of us needs to mingle with the real one outside and not the fake one created from the fragments of our memories with it. The Obscura in the room, we feel, captures the eerie yet beautiful essence of what our lives have now become. It’s washed out and dull vibrance is enchanting but unreal at the end of the day.

Sitting inside it for hours on ends I captured the different filters it experienced throughout the day. I also injected the space with these explosive and ethereal, yet naked vibrations that we felt fused with the life of the Obscura.
