Existing storehad to remain open while major structural work was done to accommodate theextensive program implemented by the owners. Such structural services includedreinforced masonry design, structural steel design, and foundation design.Shoring design, Underpinning existing foundations to accommodate new loading,cold rolled steel framing design shear walls.

CTE ( MR. Ninnie) utilized several structural software analysispackages integrated with AutoCAD for multiple designs to be examined for costseffectiveness for the budgetary constraints.

CTE ( MR. Ninnie) provided on site inspections asconstruction progressed to assist the contractor with seamless structural workcontinuance with the ambitious schedule. CTE ( MR. NINNIE) worked closely withthe Town of Poughkeepsie building department to ensure a quick and comprehensivereview to satisfy the building department review in a timely manner for theproject schedule.

CTE ( MR. Ninnie) worked continually with the projectarchitect, Tinkleman Architect in the coordination of the structural work withthe owners program and the architects plans to eliminate coordination problemsand interference problems. The result was a change order free project in spiteof the project being an existing building being expanded 50% in square footage.
