Rotating Row Home

Rotating Row Home

Following a CLT program with four different sized modules, a row home, located in Northern Liberties Philadelphia, was built. To keep with the CLT program, walls were placed and then the roof/floor above it was rotated by four feet. Rotation occurs to provide an equal amount of light for both families. The home holds three bed rooms, three bathrooms, a work space, kitchen, and living room. Mechanical and storage facilities are located in the basement.
