This was created during A university workshop. We got given an article about Brexit. The articles image had been deleted and with just the information from the article we had to generate ideas of what the image could be. I collaboratively worked with another student, taking one line from the article to work with. We chose, ‘Johnson’s policy on cake: he was pro-having it, and pro-eating it.’ From this we instantly thought about the words of Marie Antoinette who said “let them eat cake” mocking poor people. We decided to keep our image humorous and used Photoshop to recreate Boris Johnson as Marie Antoinette showing his ignorance to reality. I really enjoyed this workshop as we learnt quick ways of generating ideas and how to produce an outcome within a time limit.
