"Your time as a caterpillar has expired. Your wings are ready."

This is a personal project I delevoped in 2017 where I wanted to challenge myself in the activewear field. I love to workout and I love patterns, so I mixed this two passions and created three different type of leggings and one short that were high waisted.

At the beginning of the year I didn't know anything about manufacturing an activewear line, so it took me a lot of time and effort searching for the right people to help me to do the work. It was a pretty hard process: testing textiles, patterns, manufacturers, sewing patterns!! But it totally worth it. 

I decided to call this project CATERPILLAR. After so many years thinking about taking a risk in my creative career and almost never transforming these thoughts in reality, I decided to do the work and show myself what I am able to do. So, in some way this is something similar to the transformation process that has a caterpillar when it turns to a butterfly. I tried to get out of my bubble, my confort zone, put my wings and fly.

This is the result: 4 pieces manufactured with recycled polyester and three exclusive patterns.

1.- cayena high waisted short.

2.- medusa high waisted legging.

3.- tropicalia high waisted legging with two neon lines.

4.- zigzag high waisted legging with black cover.
