The Ambubachi Mela is an annual festival held at Kamakhya Temple in Guwajati, Assam around the middle of June, during the monsoon season that falls in the Assamese month Ahaar. During this time any kind of farming work is not undertaken and daily worship or other religious performances are also stopped. On the fourth day the temple is reopened only after Goddess Kamakhya is bathed and other rituals are executed.

Although the festival is around for quite some time, in 2017 The Ministry decided to formally launch and promote the festival for
enthusiasts and devotees across India and abroad.

The creative brief clearly required us to face lift the festival from a local event to a National phenomenon. Rigorous campaigning in Outdoor, Social and Digital mediums were undergone. I was given the Master Artwork creation mandates and the Logo creation.
