Ang Panday 2017: Lizardo

Among the Philippine cinematic villains, Lizardo was the least of my favorite. Especially with how he was depicted in the 2009 and 2011 movie versions. The renditions were pretty much a rehash of Dark Knight's Joker(2008).

And now that I'm face to face with the character, I decided that the approach should be loyal to his character from the 1979 version, only that it should be an improved version.

The "Ang Panday" movie will be about the great grand son of the legendary blacksmith, FLAVIO BATUMBAKAL. The main antagonist will still be Lizardo and this version of Lizardo is the same character in a different mortal vessel. I suggested that he should look elegant and physically graceful, unlike the previous movie versions. My rationale is that Lizardo has lived many lives and it is quite logical that he has refined his intellectual quotient and combative skills through time. He has also acquired legendary fighting artifacts from magical pendants(agimat) to weapons or sorcery.
Lizardo's Agimat
I figured of making Lizardo's swords look seriously fantastic to add more contrast between Lizardo and Flavio. The two one edged swords combine into one double edged sword by magic. The key is the eye of Minokawa, a pendant of sorcery.
