Introduction

Korea Sommelier of the Year held for the fourth time with the great improvement, valuable expansion and rising reputation. The competition was founded to advance Korean wine culture and foster awareness among the Korean public about wine and sommeliers. It is the only competition in Korea that is not limited to one country or region but encompasses the whole world and all of its important wine producing countries and regions.



Graphic Motif

We had to do renewal the whole logo system to follow up the expansion of K-SOMM events. At first, it started as a sommelier award, but now it has wine awards and fair, Wine list awards and sommelier summit. Keeping the originality of the event, we used 3 shapes to express the passion of wine and its dignity.

Logo system

Based on graphic motifs, we made new logo system which can be used for various events - fair, competiton, awards and seminars, enhancing modernity while keeping its original identity.

Korea Sommelier Wine Awards, which held for the first time on 24th April 2017, is a wine contest focused on discovering wine that is best suitable for on-trade business. This competition opened paths for Korean on-trade buyers to discover new quality wines that suit their specific needs. The K-somm Wine List Award recognizes and acknowledges a remarkable wine list in Korean restaurants, hotels, brasseries, bistros, pubs and wine bars. The wine list is evaluated by the world's leading sommelier and wine experts.
