Weirstone
We explored fusing two words together to create the brand name during our discovery. The company has strong roots in the field of engineering, something we wanted to pay homage to. For ages, engineers have used weirs to control and measure water levels. A weir is a barrier built across the width of rivers allowing water to flow over its crest. The aesthetics of water and it's reflective qualities became attractive. Conceptually, water reflects Weirstone's agility in their approach to land development projects. The weir resembles control and the ability to offer a comprehensive set of services depending on project needs.
Each project has a lifecycle, and each phase creates something to be proud of. Once complete, what's left behind are the structures — these are thought of as monuments. Therefore, the word stone completes the brand name as well as the process behind it.
