A photo-realistic gradient mesh recreation of a selected image. The recreation must have all the necessary highlights, shadows, texture, and other details found in the image.

I chose to recreate a head shot of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Though he doesn't have any hair and his entire head is overall less complex than, for example, a woman with long flowing hair and makeup, this recreation still required a lot of attention to details in his smile lines, teeth, and eyes.

The end result is not quite what I would like, but overall I feel that it fully represents the original image. With more highlights and shadows in and around the eyes, this recreation would be very photo-realistic.
