Calm Heart Meditation 


This short and sweet pranayama will bring calmness to an aching heart. It’s one of my favorites. 

Sit up straight in east pose. Tune in three times with the Adi mantra. “Ong namo guru dev namo”.

Bring your RIGHT hand snug against your heart center, fingers parallel to the ground. 

Bring your LEFT hand up to your shoulder in Gyan mudra (thumb and pointer finger touching).

Breath in deep, hold your breath as long as possible. Breath out all the way, and hold your breath out.

Continue for 3 mins. It will totally reset you. You feel a calmness in your entire body, it can bring you new energy too. It may seem tough at first, just keep going!
