KHIPU. Immersive Narrative of Astral Reconnection

KHIPU <360> Inmersive Narrative of Astral Reconnection (ongoing project)

Project for the second edition of Miradas 360 an initiative for immersive stories created by transmedia production teams, based in Argentina.
We integrated an international team with designers, developers, storytellers, photographers based in Argentina, Costa Rica and Mexico, to play with Aframe, 360 photography, 2D animation and noise music.
We are still working on this project, and look forward to fully develop our 360 experience.

Every civilization has developed systems to store and share information from one generation to another (from talking, writing drawing, etc). Today we have bits nested in our computers.

To a group of females, ancestral knowledge is still relevant. They have created a device capable of reconnecting the ancient wisdom and the celestial forces that rule us on Earth.

This device is a remake of the Khipus: information storing devices from Inca Empire. Khipus contain various layers of memory, they knot physical, biological, social, economic, mental, liguistic and even secret or anormal data.

Intro video.
"Like automats: we live each day running from the house to our jobs, asphyxiated by the contaminated air. We can't watch the stars no more, and even if we did, we wouldn't understand their message. Absorbing ourselves in the office, social media, virtual meetings... following each other like ants in the subway, change of station, get down, get up, enter the street. We have lost the connection between the self and the universe... "
