A booking system (tennis court booking) that allows user to do for the following in real-time:
- To select the data, time and booking item
- To check the price group of selected timeslots
- To select booking partners fetched from the database
- To add guest
- To place a booking order in a single-page flow.
Following Material Design guidelines for mobile, I created a screen for each step in user flow. You can see some of them here:
User can decide to add a another member of the club or a guest to their booking, continue to selecting more courts or finishing the booking already.
In case the user wishes to add another booking item, she will have access to the earlier selections, but she cannot proceed until fulfilling the booking requirements (in this case, adding another booking partner) in order to register the booking.
In a scenario where system detects the presence of non-free object in the booking, it prompts the user to proceed to payment step, instead of letting users end the flow, which had the selected booking was free of charge, she would've been allowed to do.
In an alternative flow, where the selected booking item are free of charge, user can end the flow and receive the confirmation message without the need to go through payment steps.
