- Aikan, un mariage pour un whisky -
Aikan signifie "mariage" en Arawak, la langue des premiers habitants de la Martinique. Distillé et vieilli une première fois en France et en Ecosse, ce whisky finit sa maturation à côté de la montagne pelée en Martinique. Pour cette bouteille, les créateurs m'ont demandé de représenter ce mélange de nationalités à travers un tourbillon végétal dans lequel se cachent des indices quant à la provenance de cette liqueur. Un couple notamment vogue sur une barque, il est aussi visible à travers la bouteille par transparence, dans le médaillon central.

For the label of this bottle, I've been asked to picture this mix of nationalities by doing a whirl. A mix of flowers, animals, and barrels. A couple hide into the grass. They are visible in the center of the label on the back too.
