For the animated short film Mother's Day I was in charge of creating and animating the following
devilish characters. Find all the information about Mother's Day here.

The Devil's Mother
The Devil's Mother is a very lovely, caring, enthusiastic and curious old lady. I tried to portray her in a way in which these psychological traits were visible through her aesthetics. She is very round, has a short stature, big head with big eyes and small hands and feet. Her clothes are very traditional and classical, contrasting with her cat eye glasses of angular shapes. Her hairstyle is also less conventional, with a bump (which is an element inherited by her son).

Behind the Scenes

Devil's Imps
Distraction, lack of intelligence, a kooky look and yellow shiny eyes are all shared characteristics by the Devil's Imps. They all have a purple bow tie in common that allows us to recognize them as being part of the same class. Although they are secondary characters, one wanted them to have some psychological diversity that could match their looks.

General sketches

Imp from the Vestibular of Hell

The Imp from the Vestibular of Hell is very sloppy, small and has a "ball" shape that alludes to his imbalance.
He has tiny little wings that keep him floating in the air despite his overweight.

Imp from the 9th Circle

The Imp from the 9th Circle has a very trickster and challenging look. Unlike his fellow imps, he does not have is down turned mouth which gives him a provocative and mischievous look.

Imp from the Elevator
The Imp from the Elevator, is always bored and indifferent, he has a long face (associated with the a bad mood) and is the tallest of his fellows.
