Since 1975 the Chicago Recording Company has earned a legendary reputation for their advanced studios and premier recording talent. Even through their solid reputation with recording clients such as R. Kelly, Smashing Pumpkins, Wilco, Jennifer Hudson and more, their branding and visual identity was constantly changing. I was brought in to help with the identity overhaul, designing a modern but classic logo, identity package, and a dynamic website to more accurately portray the company as it still is- cutting edge and at the top of their industry
Re-invigorating CRC's brand identity involved many projects around a strong brand rhythm. Heading up not only the basics with letterheads and business cards but cross media design as well with motion graphics, micro sites, emails, event fliers, guitar picks and even temporary tattoos!
In addition to revitalizing their visual identity and brand presence, we worked on developing a strong digital strategy that touched all aspects of the studio; inside and out. We developed a website that clearly and cleanly displayed their beautiful studios and talented engineers using individual pages for ease of user experience and SEO. Along with these foundational elements, calls to action were paired with dynamic content on recent studio happenings for new and existing clients to stay current with CRC's crazy studio energy, Advanced analytics and metrics were captured and explained for company decisions. Side projects included internal communication systems development, transition of company-wide email servers to the cloud, cloud based media management developed with easy services for self-sufficiency,r and online marketing through digital paid advertising, email campaigns and social media.
