Materialisation 1 II - Design Project
Materialisation 1, watercolour, trial 1, Remember Now 2010.
Materialisation is based from Remember Now, 2010. I have chosen this particular screen cap because it instantly intrigued me, the way she looks at him and why she looks at him is interesting and mysterious.
I have chosen watercolour, simplistic, colourful and non-finished art style to represent Remember Now as fashion illustrations often have a similar art style and qualities.
However, after a teacher discussion. We both have agreed that I should recreate another so that it can blend and connect with the whole and others.

The decision was made to create the final to be further simplistic and added with more black as it can blend with the other materialisations but to also be aesthetically and visually pleasing as it previously crowded and too confronting.
I have changed the man’s face into a male’s shadow as it creates mystery and simplicity while creating more drama or awareness towards the female. Through this action, I have created the female to stand out further as the 2 neutral colours help distinguish the female’s eye.
