Designing and applying giant posters for my University for the event "Graphics Month" (Grafika Hónapja) at Miskolc, Hungary.
The posters were planned to be applied in a building's windows. I used the frontal architecture to create an archway and I filled it whit crazy scenes.
The main idea was to use tigers and other cool stuff and connect it somehow with the traditions of graphics arts.
Here's this bearded guy who's trying to draw a jumping tiger. He uses one of the first tool artists used to draw in perspective. Thi is one of the many easter eggs which connects the work to the hustory of graphics. There is also a twist on Leonardo's Annunciation.
Here is Bigfoot!
I was experimenting with different ratios of raster dots and textures. I've tried to creat some kind of pixel 'sfumato' or a sence of depth between the figures and the background.
