A lettering mural piece commissioned by my friend Tommy for his popular Vietnamese restaurant in Canoga Park, Pho 21. This was designed to complement their new restaurant renovations. I was given free reign to design a piece that would illustrate the essence of pho, so I decided to make a dynamic lettering piece with illustrative elements to highlight the ingredients of Pho 21's signature pho dish.

I sketched and finished the digital piece in Photoshop using my Wacom tablet. With the help of Tommy, I traced the digital piece onto the wall with chalk and finished most of the mural in 2 days using white and gold acrylic paints (the gold was hand mixed from bronzes and golds). Some small details were changed on the actual final piece.
