Pool House - Desert One

Client saw another design I had created on spec and requested "something like it, but more Moroccan."  I said, how about I do something that works architecturally with the existing house and draw upon Moroccan design elements where possible.  This is the result.
A second pass on this design concept, again keeping Moroccan influences in mind, but also mindful of potential negative feedback from the homeowners association.  This grew out of a standardized pipe system I was developing for an exhibit program.  I adapted it to a residential program by assuming aluminum piping that interlocks (4" x 8", male to female), but I cladded it with a wood veneer to make it feel more organic.  This would allow the structure to be classified as temporary and disassembled occasionally to satisfy the potential roadblocks of no permanent structures.
