I always get lost in the stories of the animals I paint, the mythology and history behind them is always
really fascinating to me, and this latest one is no different.
Some of the oldest civilizations had interesting myths & legends about the beautiful Orca. There is a legend that says that humans who drowned at sea were transformed into Killer Whales. and so whenever you witness these creatures interacting with boats or coming close to shore, It's actually the Whales communicating their love for their long-lost human families.
