360º VIRTUAL TOUR
University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital

Dimensional Innovations worked with EA Advertising to create a 360º Virtual Tour of the new University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital. Initially we went on site to take spherical images of the two rooms that were already built for testing. Then, we went to the twelfth floor to film the view of the football stadium. My main tasks were creating the motion graphics for the rooms, editing the images to remove our camera and directing our other partners in spherical settings and making sure we received the proper camera setup to match our existing footage.
This was a challenging project, because at the time there were no simple solutions when it came to editing and adding motion graphics to spherical footage. All of the motion graphic elements were created in 3D Studio Max and I spent a lot of time moving them into place to match the spherical footage.
Ultimately we were proud of the result and so was our client.
