SilverSneakers 25th Anniversary Logo

SilverSneakers is a fitness program geared towards seniors (65+) that encourages healthier living for a longer & happier life. With a network of sponsored activities and social events, SilverSneakers has been loved by millions of active adults across the United States over the years. For the 25th anniversary, I was tasked with designing a logo that would be used to accompany materials surrounding a year-long celebration of this incredible program.

The idea was to show that SilverSneakers wasn't 25 years "old" but 25 years "strong". Special wording around "years" vs. "anniversary" was crafted with in-house creative team at Tivity Health - the parent company of SilverSneakers. The ribbons from the original SilverSneakers logo were also incorporated so that when used alone there would be some visual recognition. The sans serif typeface was picked to work in tandem with the full program logo, making sure that it didn't overpower that mark.

And like any versatile logo, there are several variations depending on available space, colors and purposes.
