Simplii - Cookware/Dinnerware Cross-over

Coping with Modern Life

This project looks at single, working individuals that live in compact spaces, whom our workforce mostly consists of.
The objective of the project is to provide convenience for their cooking and dining experience and to save both space and time for those who don't have much of either to spare.

Convenience at home

Simplii introduces an innovative and ergonomic mechanism that allows the handle of the pans to be detached from the pan itself, transforming the cookware into a dinnerware. It allows you to cook and eat in the same utensil, reducing the amount of clean-up needed after a meal. This small change not only saves money by reducing the number of purchases needed for cooking and eating, but also by encouraging users to cook at home more.

Saving Space

Simplii has an incredibly small footprint thanks to the detachable handle design. The entire set of three pans can be stacked and stored in a 9 in x 9 in x 4 in space, which is a little over 36% of the space required to store an equivalent set of 3 pans with a conventional design.
