Apply Magazine

A monthly magazine engaging people's interest into upcycled objects and materials. The whole concept is to encourage people to break apart their broken possessions, and instead of throwing them away, turn them into new objects. We made examples as in the content. We have taken a speaker box and used that as a table desk, taken a coffee machine, turned that into a mini aquarium and even turned a TV into a pin-hole camera.

As you may have noticed, we have risographed the cover in fluoro pink and teal green. When the magazine is inside the red ascertate sleeve, the red cancels out the pink and it only reveals the outer shell of the dark green object. This play on visuals, is designed to illustrate the number of components inside of an object and how all these pieces are put together. The disintegration of the object visually encourages you to break the boundary and to repurpose an object for something else.
