Project Description Peace Pilot began as Trayc Claybrook’s response to a call by Jeremy Gilley, Filmmaker, who founded Peace One Day to create an annual day without conflict. Through a TED talk, he called on everyone to participate in some way in recognition of International Peace Day, September 21, 2012.

Peace Pilot lit up the Texas night when four films were projected on the exterior walls of the Interfaith Peace Chapel in Dallas, Texas in recognition of International Peace Day, 9.21.12. These stunning images of peace were projected over 46 feet high and 106 feet wide, and each film was a reflection on the hero’s journey toward personal, communal, and global transformation and peace.

A curriculum has been developed and planning for the 2013 event is now underway.

As with most not-for-profit projects, all who are involved wear many hats. The launch of this initiative was no exception, was “must run faster” from start to finish, and was one of the most amazing projects we have ever worked on. Wahine Media was honored to play our part, designing the website and supporting social media. Gratitude to all who gave of their time, generously shared their expertise, and engaged their heart.
