FICTIONAL: NBC DECISION '76
Two candidates facing the opportunity for being the 39th United States President in the 1976 general election (Carter vs. Ford). The US Media coverage uses to settle debates in order to discuss public matters and NBC has done it at the time.

CONCEPT: 
Use of colours to define Democrats and Republicans. Duality, division and it sets perfectly with the use of their current logo at the time.
NBC late 1970s logo and the Helvetica Black - largely used by the Network in the 70s.

1970s corporate design mainly used by common sense the "International Style" concepts such as clarity, clean and easy readable typography, geometry, photos and pictograms.

The "N" trapezoid logo was used between 1976 and 1979 and its design cost $1 million. At the time, NBC logo became the subject of an infringement case on the trademark of the Nebraska ETV Network, for its resemblance to ETV's logo at that time.
