This portrait was requested as a gift to resemble a sports profile for Swoop Freestyle FAI World Championship Tom Baker. Baker is best known for his back flip trick, illustrated in the background of the illustration. 

I always prefer to start on paper for all of my illustrations before working on the computer. For the most part, the original sketch matched the final design.
