This assignment involved us creating alternate CD covers for preexisting albums. This involved going for an alternate style to what was originally released, making something unique to the individual. For me this involved taking Beethoven and using the sale of a retro 80's laser synth album, and using a spray paint ascetic, making that the prevalent theme across the cover and back. This project is important to me because it was the first ever project that we did in this class (with Mr Flynn that is) and it actually holds up pretty well today. Most first projects are a noticeable step down from later work, my first project with Mr Medeiros is ugly and should never be seen by anyone. These on the other hands are something I look and congratulate past me for getting design even when I was just starting out. Overall, making these two and the third which I wasn't as proud of and decided to omit, took about 16 hours to complete.
