Yosemite Valley is a glacial valley in the mountains of California. It has streams, waterfalls, dense forests and granite peaks.
A camping experience with a high school friend turned into a battle against nature as we ran out of water, climbed a peak infamous for thunderstorms and its sheer elevation, and lost the way to our campsite in the darkness. We almost called a rescue service.
