Soundscape - For the sound scape wanted to experiment with scattered memories from my childhood. These sounds resonate with memories of trying to fall asleep as a child. As I crated this piece I found my self realising I had a real fear of the night and sleeping. I would try and stay awake all night, feel anxious about needing to sleep, I feel this is the root of my insomnia. I used samples of different abstract sounds, when you are in an altered state, every sound that is meaningless and quiet becomes piercing and abstract. I used a speaking part to represent inner thoughts and chaos. This piece turned out to be very eery and solum, confronting the viewer.
