The FLEET Lumos is an accessory for the iPhone 5 to enhance the current camera experience. With increasing mega-pixels and image quality in mobile devices point and shoot cameras are slowly becoming obsolete. The Lumos takes the best features of a point and shoot camera and combines it with the capabilities of the modern mobile device; such as social connectivity, Bluetooth, and various applications.
The Lumos has two main components. The camera grip, ergonomically designed and implicating the aesthetic of an professional SLR grip, which allows the user to have a separate shutter and zoom/feature button. The removable, and interchangeable lense (wide angle, fish eye, and macro) pieces can be swapped in and out for any situation the photographer sees fit.
The Lumos leaves the current iPhone buttons and switches such as volume, ringer switch, Lightning connection, and speakers, exposed so as the cut down on weight and simplicity of the design and manufacturing.
The Lumos sports a matte black finish to give it a professional and serious look. The construction is largely made of a high impact grade ABS plastic and rubber over-mold on the grip for nice texture and touch point for the user. The lenses as well as the shutter button are constructed of a high grade aluminum to carry some elements on the phone to through the case.
