Screen Printing and Book Making.
Two books on the topic of Nintendo and a folder of actual screen prints.
These are final books for a bookmaking and screen printing brief I undertook.
I wanted to keep the theme throughout so I went for an orange cover, and to keep it simple embossed the lettering onto it. The inside the first book consists a little history of the company, some memorable people, and a timeline of when each console came out in Europe and all the images are screen printed and then scanned in for the book. The second contains experimentation I went through in my sketchbook A separate folder full of original prints are along side it.
The books are Japanese stab bound and printed on Japanese rice paper to keep with the companies origins. The books and the folder were all made by myself. And i designed the layout of the books as well.
