Inspired by the natural beauty of materials and traditional techniques, Heek chair was made for expert artisans living in rural communities in Yucatan, México, to produce beautifully handcrafted products using natural fibers from local plants.

The main aim of this project is to design-high quality Mexican products with a strong focus on promoting social and environmental well-being in their communities to help keep the talents of these artisans alive, who have learned their techniques from generations of mothers and fathers, by refining their skills into sophisticated contemporary wares. 

Xeek is at once modern and a statement piece.
