Provider Communications Onboarding Materials Visual Identity Realignment

Providers who are part of our various networks get a lot of different materials, very few of which have historically come through our design department. As such, there was no real sense of continuity in branding or visual identity among these materials other than the company logo, and even that tended to be inconsistent. I was given the task of expanding the corporate color palette to liven it up, as well as to develop and apply some basic design standards for any communication that may go to a Provider from a B2B standpoint. Ultimately, all of our different communications will be able to be accessed by Provider Contracting Representatives to build a personalized Provider Onboarding Kit.

On this project, I worked very closely with Sarah Capucini and Jessie Johnson, Provider Marketing Communications Manager and Senior Specialist, respectively.

The expanded color palette for Provider Communications.

The existing palette consisted of the three teals pictured above, as well as black. I used Pantone 327, our main corporate color, as my starting point, placed it on a color wheel as a "green," and determined its triad complements of Pantone 259 and Pantone 144.

This palette is also currently being implemented company-wide, excluding communications for Individual and Medicare products.
The folder above began as a standard 9"x12" pocket folder, but we thought we may need something with a little more thickness/depth, simply because some of the contracts that Provider Contracting Representatives can get quite lengthy. I worked with our internal production house, as well as an outside vendor, to figure out a 9"x12" pocket folder with a .25" gusset, which allows the folder to expand.
The original look for our quarterly mailed Provider newsletter. I actually created this look several years ago, based on the direction the company's visual identity was going at the time.
The redesigned newsletter. Frankly, we wanted something prettier, with big, "realistic" images, less clutter, and more white space.
Several fliers as tools for Providers or their practices. Those with a lighter teal masthead are educational, those with a darker teal masthead, administrative.
