Introducing Ollie
Ollie is a Desktop Organiser made for independent stop-motion animators to simplify their work flow and improve efficiency.
Prototyping involved 3 stages:
Physical Prototyping
A physical model of the desktop organiser was made using styrene. The only constraint provided was to have a screen attached to the model. For the prototype we used an iPad mini.
Digital Prototyping
The screen was mandatory as we had to utilise it to enhance the experience of the desktop organiser. We used it to allow the animator to arrange the photos in a timeline, organise files and projects, access the internet, along with tools to simplify the process of stop motion animation
Media Prototyping
The final step was to promote the product and its functioning through a short film.
