This one was done in bits and pieces, usually in fifteen minute chunks. Quite frankly I wanted to not draw another white female, though one would rightly criticize why I put her in this giant robe then. Even as a minority artist, it is hard to get out of the sometimes toxic and hostile unconscious bias.

Anyway, for these pieces, I used a pen brush and no pencil on rough hot-pressed watercolor paper. I liked how this combination of materials almost looks like graphite.
