Social Issue Campaign

My senior thesis project consisted of choosing a social issue to research and then build a campaign around. My topic is eating disorders on college campuses and my campaign is centered around building knowledge and awareness to students about the dangers of eating disorders and its mission is to give students with eating disorders on-campus resources for help and recovery. Breaking down the stigma and common misconceptions around this topic was also important to me in this campaign. I don't want anything to stand in front of someone's ability to get the treatment they need and deserve.
Logo for REACH, an on-campus coalition that provides resources and treatment for eating disorders as well as spreads awareness of their dangers  and warning signs.
"Body Love" stickers handed out to students and placed in public spaces will spread awareness of REACH as well as spark healthy conversations about eating disorders. The hand lettered words are organic and eye-catching, encouraging acceptance and kindness towards our bodies.
"Body Love" temporary tattoos given to students with the encouragement to share photos of their tattoos on social media. This spreads the message of self-acceptance on forums like Instagram that are so often full of unrealistic body expectations.
Campus-wide signage, stickers, and an online social media presence help bring the topic of eating disorders into the light and open for discussion and thought. the imagery is impactful and highlights the realty of this disease without using fear tactics that would just turn student's eyes away.
