Three-day convention for company partners designed to optimize networking & learning. Agenda included pre-conference events, a welcome reception, general sessions, breakouts, a tradeshow, an awards dinner and closing reception. Attendance of 12,000 with a 500+ crew.

Roles - food and beverage manager & event design manager of conference areas.

As a f/b manager, i was responsible for managing the budget, shaping menus & catering logistics. As there was no historical data on record (a key in planing for ensuing year programs), implemented a plan to track detailed consumption on all meals served. I also revised and appended detailed event documentation, strenghened kitchen synergies and integrated efficiencies across all programs. Achieved sizable cost avoidance due to effective (win/win) negotiations and exceeded all program goals and objectives.

For the sponsor program design, I retooled the existing program from a "pay for a space and let them design their own" to a "design it and sell it" as the former produced results which lacked integration to the larger show design while the latter allowed us to design rooms in a way that  reinforced the show messaging and strengthened the show brand. While they appear posh, they were intentionally designed to be modern & aesthetically inviting while also being flexible to set up in a number of different configurations. Each space had seating areas, semi-formal meeting areas and evening reception enhancements that provided color and life. And a much needed area for attendees to gather, network and sit.

The designs offered a cohesive event experience and were developed to be an extension of the general session experience (which was designed by tpn events). The program received high marks from sponsors and attendees and exceeded revenue expectations and is now a mainstay at this conference.
